Boss Paul Jewell will be weighing up whether to stick with his diamond formation or make a change to his system when the Blues take on Nottingham Forest at the City Ground on Saturday. Town are again without central defenders Ibrahma Sonko and Damien Delaney and striker Daryl Murphy, but midfielder Lee Bowyer and frontman Nathan Ellington are both fit again and Tamás Priskin has made it back from Hungary.

Loanee midfielder Keith Andrews says he can’t see himself going back to parent club Blackburn Rovers and has reiterated his desire to remain with the Blues. The Republic of Ireland international is due to stay at Portman Road until January.

Rudi Gestede put the home side in front but ex-Swansea striker Jason Scotland equalised before half-time. After the break, former Cardiff frontman Michael Chopra put the Blues in front before the home side were given the contentious penalty for handball by Carlos Edwards with 18 minutes remaining.

Town boss Paul Jewell is keen to extend Keith Andrews’s loan from Blackburn when his current half-season spell comes to an end in January, but says there’s no guarantee that the Premier League side will allow him to return. The Blues manager will also look at bringing Danny Collins back from Stoke when the transfer window opens, the central defender having to return to the Potters at the end of his 93-day switch after the Barnsley game in December.

On-loan Town defender Danny Collins has been named in the Wales squad for their Euro 2012 qualifiers against Switzerland and Bulgaria next month. Collins, with the Blues until after the Barnsley game in December from Stoke, has previously won 12 full caps.

The 24-year-old, who was close to joining Leeds on loan last month, spoke out about his lack of opportunities at Portman Road while away with the Hungarian national squad last week.
